The T.A.I will hold this event in the Irish Fly Fishing and Game Shooting Museum at Attanagh House in Durrow, Co.Laois on the 25th of May 2019. On the Day
During the event, you will learn the basics process of bird taxidermy through the instruction of some of Ireland’s own professionals. You and your fellow course takers will be guided through the process from start to finish; from skinning to a finished specimen, and will leave the day with their piece and enough knowledge to continue this wonderful form of wildlife art at home if you so desire. This day-course is open not just to members of the T.A.I, but to everyone! However members will have the added benefit of a greatly reduced price for this workshop, so why not join us if you haven’t already and grab yourself a great deal.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing but yourself! From specimen to working materials all will be provided by the T.A.I! Bringing a notebook would be handy, so you can keep track of all the invaluable information provided on the day, but no special supplies are needed. There will be taxidermy kits available for hire at the event which contain all the basic tools needed. These kits can either be returned at the end of the workshop to get your deposit on them refunded, or you can choose to fore-go your deposit and keep these kits. If you are completely new to the art of taxidermy these kits are a great way to get your set up properly!
